"hello, world!" Seattle Design Festival two-day exhibition
During the 2021 Seattle Design Festival, "hello, world!" stood as an interactive experience to learn how to emerge back into our community, through connecting with others through art and writing. With the participation of friends, neighbors, and strangers we reflected on all that the past year carried, and then taught each other how to move forth and emerge.

We wrote, reflected, advised, and drew in order to share our stories and experience those of others. Through giving a space to be thoughtful and reflective, this exhibit aims to help rebuild the foundations of a safe, strong, and supportive community.
"hello, world!" was also featured as an installation at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery located at the University of Washington from September 21st-October 9th, 2021.
Huge thanks to the “hello, world!” team, the sponsors and donors, Yuna Shin for the wonderful installation photos, the Seattle Design Festival/ community members, and anonymous participants!
